Insanity Fit Test – My Results

Another day, another blog, another round of Insanity! That’s right. I’m doing it again. One of the things I love most about the Insanity program is the fit test. It allows you to track your progress on more than just a body measurement scale. You can actually see how much more fit you become over the length of doing the program. While I’ve done this before, I know there is always room to improve. So here I go.

Those of you who haven’t taken the test can see what I’m talking about by downloading a free Insanity Fit Test Journal. I’ve included a link, so you can view and download this journal to help you with these exercises and track your results.

Here are my results for the first round. I have 3 more to take until I finish the program. Anyone want to join me?

    Here are my stats from 4/2:
    Switch kicks = 45
    power jacks = 40
    power knees = 94
    power jumps = 28
    Globe jumps = 8
    Suicide jumps = 15
    Push ups jacks = 17
    Low plank obliques = 49

      Hey Cheryl! Thanks for the fit test result post. Which test was this? Im thinking #3, but want to confirm. I’d love to know if your scores are getting better.

    Here are my fit test results from 04/08/2012……

    Switch Kicks: 100 (+10)
    Power Jacks: 50 (+3)
    Power Knees: 80 (+7)
    Power Jumps: 30 (no change. :()
    Globe Jumps: 9 (+1, have I told you how I loathe these?)
    Suicide Jumps: 15 (+3)
    Push-Up Jacks: 28 (+3, I’m VERY disappointed in myself on these more so than on the power jumps with no change, I should have increased more!)
    Low Plank Obliques: 50 (+10)

      Great job! Was this test 2 or 3 of the program. Im trying to figure out if your improving from the initial fit test to day 15 or is it day 36.

    Switch Kicks: 70 (5 more)
    Power Jacks: 53 (13 more)
    Power Knees: 111 (5 more)
    Power Jumps: 45 (12 more)
    Globe Jumps: 11 (1 more)–I couldn’t seem to get that number any higher, I even took 2 whole minutes to recover from Power Jumps and I couldn’t “recover” ..this is where I started heaving…
    Push-up Jacks: 30 (7 more)
    Low Plank Obliques: 75 (15 more)

      Your numbers are very impressive. I can relate to the heaving lol. Was this the 2nd or 3rd test for you. You had some serious increases. Did you do this in 15 days?

    Fit Test 3:

    Switch kicks: 64 reps or 128 (+16 improvement over day 1)
    Power jacks: 46 (+2 from day 1)
    Power knees: 122 (+22!)
    Globe jumps: 8 (-1 now that I know proper form)
    Suicide jumps: 18 (+2)
    Pushup jacks: 21 (+6)
    Low plank oblique: 66 (+11)

      WOO HOO! Check out that Power Knee number!! Theres no denying that you are getting stronger. I cant wait to see what you do in 2 more weeks after starting month 2 workouts.

      Great job on fit test #1. you were scared for no reason at all. Now be sure to post a 14 day follow up. Let’s see how much better you can be.
